Cedar Peptides supplies research-grade peptides to UK laboratories. Every claim on this site is meant to be verifiable, and the fastest way to judge us is to go and verify one.

Where a batch has been referenced and tested, its certificate is published against the reference on the vial — so you can look one up before you order rather than after. A supplier who cannot survive that is a supplier you have learned something about.

What we are

A UK supplier of research peptides, run out of Yorkshire, shipping to laboratories and independent researchers across Great Britain and Northern Ireland. We hold stock, we ship it ourselves, and the person answering your email works here.

We do not manufacture. We source to a written specification from manufacturers who can meet it, commission independent analysis, and publish what comes back. Being clear about that matters: a reseller claiming to be a laboratory is the first thing a careful buyer catches, and it makes everything else on the page suspect.

The catalogue covers metabolic and incretin research compounds, growth-factor and repair peptides, bioregulators, cognitive and circadian compounds, and the consumables that go with them. Everything is supplied for laboratory research use only.

How a compound reaches the shelf

Four steps, and the third is the one that costs us money — we write off the stock rather than recover anything from it. A standard nobody is ever rejected against is not a standard.

  1. We specify before we buy

    Every listed peptide is ordered against a written specification: identity, minimum purity, and the analytical evidence we expect to receive with it. A supplier who cannot meet the specification does not get the order.

  2. The batch is tested, not the promise

    We commission independent laboratory analysis across the range. Where a batch has been tested, what the laboratory recorded is what gets published — including the analytical methods used, so you can judge the result rather than take the number on faith.

  3. A batch that misses is destroyed

    Material that falls short of specification is not relabelled to a lower grade, not discounted, not blended into stock, and not sent back to the supplier. It is incinerated. Returning it would only move it somewhere we can no longer account for, and if we cannot supply the right compound at the right purity there is nowhere else that material is worth being.

  4. It ships sealed

    Accepted material is lyophilised and vacuum-sealed. Where a batch reference has been assigned it is printed on the vial label, and that reference is what connects the thing in your hand to the document on this site. Not every product carries one yet, and where a vial has no reference the product page does not pretend otherwise.

The specification we buy against

The minimum purity we order listed research peptides to. It is a purchasing standard, not a guarantee attached to every vial: where a batch has been tested, the figure the laboratory actually recorded is on that batch’s published certificate, and that recorded figure is the one to trust.

What a certificate does not prove

Published documentation is the reason to buy here, so it is worth being precise about its edges. Four things ours cannot tell you.

It describes one batch
A certificate is a measurement of the material that was sampled, on the day it was sampled. It says nothing about a different batch of the same compound, and it is not a general claim about the product line.
Coverage is not universal
Our testing programme runs across the range and is expanding, but it does not yet reach every product and every batch. Where a certificate exists we publish it. Where one does not, the product page says so rather than implying otherwise.
The reference may be the supplier’s
Some published reports are supplier-level analyses, and third-party laboratories work to their own sample references. So a report may name the supplier’s batch rather than our internal stock code. Where that is the case, the product page tells you which is which.
Not every vial is referenced yet
Batch referencing is being rolled out across the catalogue and does not cover every product and every SKU today. A vial with no reference on its label cannot be looked up, and nothing on this site will suggest it can.
Purity is not suitability
A high-purity result means the material is what it says it is, to the sensitivity of the method used. It is not evidence that a compound is appropriate for your protocol, and we do not offer an opinion on that — designing the study is your work, not ours.

None of that makes the documentation less useful. It makes it evidence rather than advertising, which is the distinction the whole verification system exists to hold.

What we will not do

Research-use-only is a constraint we actually operate, not a line in the footer.

  • We publish no dosing guidance for people or animals, and support will not supply it privately if you ask.
  • We make no therapeutic claim about any compound, and we do not describe research findings as though they were product performance.
  • We do not sell to anyone who tells us the material is for human use, and we will cancel and refund an order rather than complete it.
  • We do not present the catalogue as a health product, a supplement, or anything a person is meant to take.

Handling and dispatch

Peptides are held and shipped lyophilised, sealed under vacuum, in UV-protective packaging. In that state they are stable at ambient temperature for the length of a domestic delivery, which is why nothing here depends on a cold chain that can fail in a van.

Orders placed before the daily cut-off on a working day leave the next working day, tracked, in an unmarked outer. The dispatch and delivery page gives the exact rule, including what happens at weekends.
