CJC-1295 (without DAC), also known as Modified GRF 1-29 (Mod GRF 1-29), is a short-acting synthetic analog of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH). It is designed to stimulate endogenous growth hormone (GH) release in a pulsatile, physiologically consistent manner. Unlike the DAC-modified version, this variant has a very short half-life, allowing precise control over GH pulses and reducing the risk of receptor desensitization. It is primarily used in research focused on recovery, anti-aging, body composition, and endocrine function optimization.
Mechanism of Action
CJC-1295 without DAC binds to GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotroph cells, stimulating cyclic AMP (cAMP) production and triggering pulsatile release of growth hormone. This mimics natural GH secretion patterns, leading to downstream increases in IGF-1 while preserving normal endocrine feedback mechanisms.
